Michael Slobasky, D.O., is the Founder of Global Neuro & Spine Institute. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is triple board certified in pain medicine, and in physical medicine and rehabilitation. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1997, he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University in Glendale, Ariz., in 2002.
Dr. Slobasky did his internship in New York, NY at St. Vincent’s Midtown Hospital (formerly St. Clare’s). This was followed by a residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Physiatry) at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA where he served as Chief Resident. Following his residency, Dr. Slobasky completed an ACGME accredited Fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at Temple University Hospital and the clinics of Mid Atlantic Spine. Dr. Slobasky prides himself on performing spinal injections, electrodiagnostics, and minimally invasive spine surgeries with as little patient discomfort as possible.

Dr. Vrable is co-owner, partner, and a practicing physician of Global Neuro & Spine Institute. He is Triple Board Certified in the sub-specialty of Interventional Pain Medicine, Subpecialty of Sports Medicine and Specialty of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Physiatry).
Dr. Vrable is originally from Columbus, OH where he earned a degree in Exercise Physiology and subsequently a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. Soon after, Dr. Vrable attended medical school in Phoenix, AZ and went on to graduate at the top of his class. He served as Chief Resident at a top tier residency program in Miami, FL where he concentrated on Spinal Cord Injuries, Traumatic Brain Injuries, and Musculoskeletal Diseases. Dr. Vrable then completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine with advanced training in Surgical Implantation and Electrodiagnostics.
Dr. Shatabdi Patel
Dr. Shatabdi Patel is double boarded in the Specialty of Neurology and sub-specialty of Headache Medicine. She is also fellowship trained in Interventional Pain Medicine.
Dr. Patel is originally from New Jersey where she completed her undergraduate studies at Rutgers University. She subsequently attended Medical School at Ross University. She then joined Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia where she completed her internship in Internal Medicine followed by a residency in Neurology. She then went on to complete a Headache Medicine Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital as well and an ACGME- accredited Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan, NY. Dr. Patel is proficient in neuropathic pain, headaches, spinal injections, joint injections, Spinal Cord Stimulators, and electrodiagnostics.
Dr. Vijay Katukuri

Dr. Vijay Katukuri is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He has fellowship training in Interventional Physiatry/Pain Management. He currently holds medical licenses in Florida and California.
After graduating with a bachelor in computer science in 2004, Dr. Katukuri changed careers and underwent medical training. Dr. Katukuri went on to receive his specialty post graduate training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in 2012 and served as the academic chief resident in his final year. He was honored as Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation “Resident of the year” in 2011 during his training. He then went on to receive subspecialty training in Interventional Physiatry/Pain Management driven by his passion to treat patients with painful musculoskeletal conditions at Deuk Spine Institute in Melbourne, Florida.
After finishing his training, Dr. Katukuri worked as an Interventional Pain Management physician at Deuk Spine Institute before joining Global Neuro and Spine Institute to continue his passion in treating patients suffering with painful musculoskeletal conditions.
Dr. Amer Ansari

Dr. Amer Ansari is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and fellowship trained in interventional pain management. He has been practicing interventional pain management since 2013 and is licensed in the state of Florida. After completing his bachelors at Cornell University, Dr. Ansari went on to graduate from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then went on to complete his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the NYU Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation in New York where he was voted the most valuable resident for his graduating class of 2012. He subsequently completed a fellowship in interventional physiatry/pain management in Florida and has been living here since. Dr. Ansari’s clinical interests are in musculoskeletal physiatry with a focus on painful spinal conditions.
In his spare time he enjoys traveling with his wife, working out, basketball, and finding new and interesting places to eat.
Pedro Salcedo is a graduate of the Physician Assistant program at the Medical College of Georgia. He has been a board-certified physician assistant since 2002.
His patient care experience encompasses emergency medicine, orthopedics, family practice, interventional pain management and neurosurgery. Before his career as a physician assistant, he was an active duty soldier for the United States Army. He proudly served for six years as a combat medical specialist and an LPN.
