Dr Allan Vrable

Dr. Vrable is co-owner, partner, and a practicing physician of Global Neuro & Spine Institute. He is Triple Board Certified in the sub-specialty of Interventional Pain Medicine, sub-specialty of Sports Medicine and Specialty of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Physiatry).  He possesses medical licenses in Florida, Michigan, New York and Delaware, as well as an Arizona Physical Therapy license and an American Board of Medical Acupuncture license.

Dr. Vrable is originally from Columbus, Ohio (The Buckeye State) where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Ohio University (1997) before going on to get his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy at Daemen College in Buffalo, NY (2000).  Soon after, Dr. Vrable decided to continue his education and enrolled in Medical School at Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix, AZ.  After graduating from medical school (2004) at the top of his class, he earned a chance to go to a comprehensive internship at one of the top hospitals in Manhattan, NY.

Dr. Vrable’s exceptionally profound interest in the neurologic and musculoskeletal systems of the human body directed his next move to the University of Miami.  He entered, served as chief resident, and completed (2008) a top tier residency program in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation where he concentrated on Spinal Cord Injuries, Traumatic Brain Injuries, and Musculoskeletal Diseases.

Dr. Vrable soon realized that he was especially driven by treating spine disorders and moved to Philadelphia, PA to train in minimally invasive spine interventions and surgeries under the guidance of one of the international leaders in the field at Temple University (2009).

With an abundant amount of experience in the fields of interventional pain, physical therapy and exercise physiology, Dr. Vrable has authored or co-authored a number of journal-published papers, participated in countless presentations and lectures, and led a community lecture series. He can claim nearly a dozen professional organization memberships and affiliations, including the American Medical Association, American Academy of Pain Medicine, and American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
