Michael Slobasky, D.O., is the Founder of Global Neuro & Spine Institute. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is triple board certified in pain medicine, and in physical medicine and rehabilitation. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1997, he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University in Glendale, Ariz., in 2002.
Dr. Slobasky did his internship in New York, NY at St. Vincent’s Midtown Hospital (formerly St. Clare’s). This was followed by a residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Physiatry) at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA where he served as Chief Resident. Following his residency, Dr. Slobasky completed an ACGME accredited Fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at Temple University Hospital and the clinics of Mid Atlantic Spine. Dr. Slobasky prides himself on performing spinal injections, electrodiagnostics, and minimally invasive spine surgeries with as little patient discomfort as possible.

Dr. Vrable is co-owner, partner, and a practicing physician of Global Neuro & Spine Institute. He is Triple Board Certified in the sub-specialty of Interventional Pain Medicine, Subpecialty of Sports Medicine and Specialty of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Physiatry).
Dr. Vrable is originally from Columbus, OH where he earned a degree in Exercise Physiology and subsequently a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. Soon after, Dr. Vrable attended medical school in Phoenix, AZ and went on to graduate at the top of his class. He served as Chief Resident at a top tier residency program in Miami, FL where he concentrated on Spinal Cord Injuries, Traumatic Brain Injuries, and Musculoskeletal Diseases. Dr. Vrable then completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine with advanced training in Surgical Implantation and Electrodiagnostics.
Dr. Shatabdi Patel
Dr. Shatabdi Patel is double boarded in the Specialty of Neurology and sub-specialty of Headache Medicine. She is also fellowship trained in Interventional Pain Medicine.
Dr. Patel is originally from New Jersey where she completed her undergraduate studies at Rutgers University. She subsequently attended Medical School at Ross University. She then joined Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia where she completed her internship in Internal Medicine followed by a residency in Neurology. She then went on to complete a Headache Medicine Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital as well and an ACGME- accredited Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan, NY. Dr. Patel is proficient in neuropathic pain, headaches, spinal injections, joint injections, Spinal Cord Stimulators, and electrodiagnostics.
Harold H. Allen, Jr.
Dr. Allen received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Virginia. He attended the Medical University of South Carolina for his general surgery internship and residency, followed by his orthopedic surgery residency at The George Washington University School of Medicine. He spent three years in the Army Medical Corps in Korea and South Carolina. He subsequently spent over 20 years in private practice in Northern Virginia, developing his expertise in general orthopedics and sports medicine. Most recently, he has worked as a civilian orthopedic surgery contractor for military and government entities. He is board-certified in Orthopedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery / American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Daren Subnaik
Dr. Daren Subnaik is an interventional pain medicine specialist with extensive training in all aspects of the field. After graduating magna cum laude from Jacksonville University, he attended medical school at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He then completed his internship at Michigan State University prior to heading to the University of Louisville where he served as chief resident in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. After residency, Dr. Subnaik completed an interventional pain medicine fellowship in the department of anesthesiology at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Subnaik has extensive training in advanced fluoroscopic and ultrasound guided pain procedures such as spinal cord stimulation, sympathetic nerve blocks, facet and sacroiliac rhizotomy, genicular nerve ablations and epidural steroid injections. He also has special interest in interventional headache management utilizing procedures such as sphenopalatine ganglion blocks, and occipital/auriculotemporal/supraorbital nerve blocks. Other areas of interest include spasticity and chronic pain management with botulinum toxin and intrathecal programmable drug delivery systems in addition to musculoskeletal and sports medicine with various modalities and interventions such as peripheral nerve and joint injections. Dr. Subnaik is also proficient in Electromyography and Nerve Conduction Studies.
Dr. Subnaik aims to provide compassionate care and optimize functional well being with a multidisciplinary approach to pain management. He prefers to incorporate all of the patient's healthcare providers in their management in addition to utilizing other areas of expertise such as pain psychology and physical therapy. When he's not practicing, Dr. Subnaik enjoys working out and spending time with his family. He is also an avid sports fan having previously played for the U.S. Virgin Islands Men's National Soccer team beginning at age 15. He also currently serves as team physician for the Men’s national team.
Pedro Salcedo is a graduate of the Physician Assistant program at the Medical College of Georgia. He has been a board-certified physician assistant since 2002.
His patient care experience encompasses emergency medicine, orthopedics, family practice, interventional pain management and neurosurgery. Before his career as a physician assistant, he was an active duty soldier for the United States Army. He proudly served for six years as a combat medical specialist and an LPN.
William Krantz, PA-C, also known as Bill, is Physician Assistant who comes from the great state of Oregon, where he grew up on a farm with 12 siblings. Bill is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University where he earned his Master’s degree in Medical Sciences. Bill is also a Graduate from the University of Oregon where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Romance Languages. Bill is also fluent in Spanish, French and German.
