Pedro was born in Methuen, Massachusetts, and raised in South Florida. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical College of Georgia.

Pedro Salcedo has been working in the field of pain management for more than 10 years, and he is Board-Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). After completing his studies, he began working in the field of Emergency Medicine in Augusta, Georgia. He then spent a few years working in the field of neurosurgery in West Palm Beach, as the first assistant in both spine and brain surgery.

His exposure to surgical management of neck pain and back pain prompted Pedro to transition into pain management. Prior to his career as a physician assistant, he was an active-duty soldier for the United States Army, where he proudly served for six years as a combat medical specialist and Licensed Practical Nurse. Pedro promotes a comprehensive approach to pain management which includes diet, weight loss, medications, and interventional procedures.
