Selective Nerve Root Block Injections
A targeted nerve root block injection is given in the specific area of your spine where the affected nerve root is situated. The primary aim of this technique is to determine the reasons for nerve root compression. The origin of the discomfort is identified if the injection reduces symptoms. The duration of the test for each spinal level is between 15 and 30 minutes. Dr. Ryan Brooks DO, DAOBPMR, at Global Neuro & Spine Institute provides targeted nerve root block injections.
